For about three months, a couple of conservative screwballs in the administration have been floating the idea of suspending the November elections among their extremist brethren to see if the idea had "legs". Bush must now know that he is losing more and more voters, so creating or using a terrorist incident may be the only way he has to stay in office.

I would not be surprised, after the Demo's convention and the positive support of Edwards to the ticket, that Bush will find himself 6-8 points behind in the polls. Then after the Republican convention, standby for this attempted coup to take place. It will be the only way to "protect the country."
