'Let's face it: whatever happens in Thursday's debate, cable news will proclaim President Bush the winner'

...that from Paul Krugman

Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reiley, Hume etc. etc. already have the script written in their minds. It's called the 'Framing Effect' in politics: they are determined to frame your opinion and their agenda, regardless of the facts. In 2000, in was Al Gore's big 'SIGH' that they all talked about, not the substance. Who knows what it will be this time. The talking points have already been sent out by the White House.

So get over it. Expect it and don't get depressed.

But it is now time veterans, and others listening, to see through the garbage, look for the real facts, and make your decision about who cares most about veterans, our military (including the reserves and national guard), health care, education, and jobs. If you do that honestly, and not out of fear, you will choose John Kerry.
